11/22/15: Forty-two of the best of the best Phila-area high school seniors squared off today for the 2015 PhilaFH All-Star Game. The players were selected by the coaches from 111 area teams and represented 32 teams from 14 leagues. Today, the players wore their high schools skirts for very last time.
In an evenly matched game between Teams Freedom and Liberty, the squads recorded a combined 19 shots on goal. Strong defense on both ends allowed only eight combined corners for the teams. In the end, it was Team Freedom who started each half on fire, that recorded the 3-2 win despite a late-game surge by Team Liberty.
Every player was clearly an “All-Star” and contributed to their teams’ successes. Congratulations to all of the players:
