Marple Newtown 2, Kennett 0
Marple Newtown played a tough game, controlling the pace of play all over the field. It was a total team effort tonight over Kennett to give the Tigers their 4th straight win. The Tigers are playing their best hockey of the season, and really hitting their stride here as we near the home stretch. Kennett’s Stephanie Oleykow showed excellent control and stick skills, powering their offense. Marple’s Gia DeAngelis absolutely dominated on the forward line – taking on double teams and holding possession. MN’s defensive unit and midfielders all played solid. Anna Lemaster had 15 saves for the Tigers while Kennett GK had 8.
